FREE Landscaping! Sweet Potato Vine update #1

Here are some updated pics to show the progress of our Sweet Potato Vine. Here is the first post on the progress
Now the oldest group is approx. 9 weeks old. They all look GREAT!
Keep in mind these are all grown off of CUTTINGS!!

Now I am going to TRY to get them to grow under the tree..There are a lot of roots under there, but we shall see. I just planted them yesterday (from my OWN cuttings!)

  1. Beautiful landscaping...by the looks of the trees and plants and that wonderful grass, you must be in Florida!

  2. Your potato vine looks amazing...you definitely have a green thumb. I have to say I am envious, so many wonderful things to plant in Florida, which is home to me (former Floridian here that has been trans-planted in yankee territory)

  3. Christine,
    Thanks for your sweet comments.
I am a NATIVE Floridian! Born & Raised!
I did live in GA for one year recently, but couldn't wait to come back to FL :)
I do miss the change of seasons though. Fall was BEAUTIFUL in GA.

  5. Hmmm my previous comment didn't post, let's try again...
I love your potato vines, here in the midwest, we can't over-winter so use them in pots as filler vines with flowers. LOVE them as ground cover!

    1. My Sister-in-Laws did fine last winter (all THREE DAYS of winter that we had!! LOL)
      WE shall see.....
I LOVE the idea of putting them in pots with flowers. I hadn't thought of that! GREAT IDEA! I can't wait to try it.
If it weren't pouring rain right now, I'd do it right now!!
